Note to Self

2 year olds and finger painting do not mix. Doesn't she look like an extra in Braveheart?

Visit with Santa

We did the traditional visit with the mall Santa this afternoon. In the car on the way there, Connor said he was going to ask Santa for "fifty thousand dollars!" WOW! Why didn't I think of that?

Callie's Swim Lessons

Both Connor and Callista have been doing swim lessons each Tuesday morning. It has taken a while, but Callie finally agreed to put on her swim cap.

She is becoming a champion bubble blower

Connor turns 5--over and over again

We decided that when you turn 5, you should have a birthday week, not just a birth day. Connor agreed, and had no less than 4 different birthday parties. This one was on Thanksgiving day, the day after he turned 5.

Never trust a two year old around a cake.

Later that day, we went to Aunt Jenny and Uncle Mark's house for another birthday celebration.

Uncle Jason's present

Uncle Jason sent Connor a package on his birthday. He was so excited to see something with his name on it by the mailbox.

Of course, it included a Spiderman card.

And, a remote control tarantula. Doesn't every 5 year old boy need one of those?

Thanks Uncle Jason!!

Connor's Day-Before-Birthday Party

We also celebrated the day before Connor's birthday with Grandpa Fred and Edie. This little cake that I bought at Copps was actually the best cake of all the parties. I even dropped it unside-down in the parking lot and it was still great!

Connor's School Birthday

Connor had a pizza party at school for his birthday.
They kids enjoyed it, and Callie thought she was part of the class. She was so sad when we left! She is definitely missing her mother's morning out friends.

This reminds me of Steve Martin's "wild and crazy guy" This is Connor signature "silly pose" which you probably recognize from other pictures.
